This is a mentored scramble lead for Mark Ehrlich, with Mark Scheffer as my distinguished and esteemed mentor.
The three goals of the trip are to stay safe, have fun and work together as an inclusive team.
The plan is to follow the Granite Creek and Thompson Point trails to the summit. The route is expected to be snowy at the upper elevations.
More details, carpooling and any updates to the plan will be coordinated by email.
Leader permission required for conditioning.
We’ll meet at Granite Creek trailhead at 7:30am (ready to scramble).
From exit 34 off I-90, head north to Middle Fork Road 0.6 miles on your right hand side. You will hit a fork in the road and you can go either way because they run back together a half mile later. The Granite Creek trailhead will be on your right just 0.2 miles past the Mailbox trailhead.
