Overnight camping and Scrambling in Rainier. The plan is to climb Second Mother Mountain and Third Mother Mountain

Carbon River TH at 7.30AM

( Requests before sign up, will not be answered, While requesting leaders permission, please highlight recent conditioning and why you want to do these peaks) 
Considering this is an overnight trip, please consider covid precautions/awareness of other participants. If you are not vaccinated/are working/living at risk for covid exposure, please email me and we can identify if this is the right trip for you!
Leader has already purchased camping permits - 26$ and members can pitch in- if desired.

Saturday 
1. Start at 7.30AM - bike to green lake trail (4-5miles) 
2. Set up camp at : Ipsut Creek Campground (I will make reservations online)
3. Hike Wonderland trail and setup camp below second mother mountain and climb Second mother mountain (7-10 miles)
4. Come back to camp, enjoy sunset looking at Mount Rainier and rest 
Sunday
1. Start at 7.30 AM - pack up tent and  Climb Third mother mountain  (3-4 miles)
2. Come back - pick up our tents and head to Green lake TH (2-3 miles)
3. Bike back to cars (4-5 miles on bike)

Gear :
1. Approach shoes/mountaineering boots
2. Ice axe & helmet
3. Tents
4. Sleeping Bags/ Sleeping pads
5. Approach bikes (they can be useful to speed up the boring road walk) - I don't have a bike and will probably borrow one /rent one for the weekend
