To be arranged. I plan to use carpools and travel on the Edmonds/Kingston ferry on one of the earlier ferries, and be on trail by 7 pm on Friday or 9am on Saturday
On the return, we will likely reach the trailhead around 5-6 pm on Sunday.
Please do not request leaders permission before registration opens
<Leaders Permission required> as this could become technical if we wander into one of the many "Obvious gullies" previous T4 or T5 experience required
Plan to camp at the climber's camp, which is about 5-6 miles from the trailhead, and climb on Sunday morning starting at 5 am. The first three miles are on good hiking trail to Lena Lake. Then the remaining trail meanders up through the "Valley of the Silent Men" to a very basic camp at 3,000'. There are possible river fords after Lena Lake and just before climbers camp. Some shoes for wading would be nice.
On Sunday, we'll climb, return to camp, pack up, and return to the trailhead. If certain folks wish to stay at Lena Lake and leave on Monday, that may be possible.
Carpools are encouraged to share the cost of the ferry.
