Meet at Cle Elum Bakery at 8:45AM (1:45 hours drive from North Seattle)
Then, re-meet at Iron trailhead at 9:45.
Plan: 10AM start. Take trail to Teanaway-Iron saddle, then take least technical route to Teanaway Peak summit. (est 3 hours from cars). Then return to saddle and take trail to Iron (time permitting).
Descend slope west of Iron. The serpentine gravel section is amazing. I am hoping to find a way off the extreme west end of the serpentine.
Total time expected: 6:30 hours (based on past trips). So, back at cars expected by 4:30. Could be as late as 5:30.
Rainy weather will cancel the trip.
