Weather factors prompted us to change our destination from Silver King to Teanaway Peak. Teanaway still offers practice in routefinding and ice axe practice, the potential for a drop-dead view of the Stuart Range and a 600 vertical foot glissade.

With Ed Dominguez as our co-leader, this trip is intended to further hone students' skills. Our route takes us to the Teanaway Iron Peak saddle for ice axe practice before climbing the final 700' to Teanaway's summit via the SE face.

Bring ice axe, helmet and your sliding pants. We'll email maps in JPEG format prior to the trip
