Alpine Scramble - Tatoosh Range Traverse

***Summit goals are Foss Peak and Pinnacle Peak with a traverse from Bench Lake Trailhead (Unicorn Creek) and coming out at Pinnacle Peak trailhead.

  • Elevation Gain: 4,000 ft
  • High Point Elevation: 6,650 ft

Meet Sunday, October 2nd at either 5 AM at Olympia Park and Ride or 7 am at Bench Lake Trailhead in Mount Rainer National Park.

Will leave one car at Reflection Lake/Pinnacle Peak trailhead to drive back to Bench Lake trailhead at end of day.

Must be in good conditioning currently, with recent outdoor physical activities having been completed.  Pace will be on the quicker end.  

Okay to bring trail shoes in addition to your climbing boots if you choose, for the trail portions of the outing.  Hiking pole recommended.  Open to scramble and climb students and graduates.
