6:00 AM at Longmire
Leaving from Reflection Lakes we'll head up to Pinnacle Peak, then to Plummer, Denman, Lane, Wahpenayo, Chutla and Eagle peaks and down to Longmire. Will have to leave one car at Longmire in order to shuttle drivers back to Relfection lakes after the scramble. Participants should have completed one conditioner and and a few scrambles this year before requesting to be signed up. Bring helmet, lots of water, 10 essnetials, hastyharness/carabiner/prussick. We may be able to top up water at a small lake between Lane and Wahpenayo. I'll bring one high speed filter. One more will be helpful. Axes may not be neccessary. I'll update as I get more information on the conditions. Pace may say Moderate since I don't plan to hustle; however, we will be spending much of our time moving with short breaks. Wahpenayo will likely be our longest stay. I have booked one campsite at Cougar Rock Canpground for 4 people. If you're interested in an camping there send me an email. For efficiency, please practise trying your hasty harness and applying a prussik to another line. Thanks.
