Alpine Scramble - Tahtlum Peak

A mixed alpine scramble to a peak just south of Chinook Pass.

6:30 AM, Martin Way Park and Ride, Lacey, WA

Hopefully the PCT approach will have melted more.  Tahtlum Peak tops out at 6567' so we may have some climbing on snow.  The route follows a ridge east above Dewey Lake for some great views. 

Parking will be in a developed US Forest Service lot, so a Federal Pass will be needed for each vehicle (NW Forest Pass or equivalent)
