Alpine Scramble - Snowking Mountain/Northeast Shoulder

A 2 day trip of a long and challenging scramble to Snowking Mountain in the North Cascades; S4, T5, 12 miles to summit, 6,800’ gain. Hopefully we’ll get some outstanding views!

Saturday, Everett Station Park and Ride 5:00am.

Starting times will be early on both Saturday (5:00am Everett Station P&R) and Sunday (5:00am leave camp to summit), to allow for moderate pace and route finding.  Equipment:  ice ax, helmet, crampons, mountaineering boots, diaper/hasty harness, 10 Essentials, overnight gear.  Sign up is with leader.   While this is a moderate paced trip, a reasonable level of fitness is needed.  More information will be sent out on July 6th, with group gear assignments, route map, etc
