This scramble is in association with the Mountaineers Alpine Lakes Wilderness workshop to be held on Wednesday, June 13 at the Mountaineers program center. A member of the workshop will join us to climb Snoqualmie Mtn and point out proposed additions to the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. This scramble is open to students and applies toward graduation credit. Opportunities for navigation, ice axe self arrest and snow stability assessment skills practice will be available during this event. We will determine, by group concensus, whether to include Guye Peak in the scramble after we have completed the summit of Snoqualmie Mtn. Ice axe self arrest practice is required if we want to include Guye Peak. Required equipment: Ice axe, Helmet, Diaper Sling (or harness), Ten Essentials
