Exit 20 off I-90 at 6:00 am. Alternatively, you can meet us at the Chase Bank by the Safeway in North Bend at 6:20 am.

We will ascend the lesser-known "Tom Cushing" approach, which involves some nasty bushwhacking at the beginning, but then leads to gorgeous terrain as we traverse from Lobox to Hibox. The summit rock is one of the great rock scrambles that feels very scary but is actually  quite safe. We will descend the standard route.
