This is primarily a trip for students who have successfully done the snow field trip. If you are a scramble graduate, you can contact me about being an assistant leader; otherwise, please wait till the 2nd day of sign-up (Tuesday April 24) to register for this trip. Sign-up on Monday April 23 is for students only.
We probably won't need snowshoes because much of the terrain will have been groomed for skiing. Crystal is scheduled to close for the season on 4/22. It's unlikely but possible that they will extend the season if they get enough additional snow; in that case, I'll come up with an alternative destination.
We will practice many of the skills learned at the snow and navigation field trips.
