- Helmet
- Ice axe
- Harness (such as a webbing harness tied with a water knot)
- Locking carabiner
- Cord loop with 2-3 ft reach (for a klemheist or prusik)
- Overnight gear (tent/bivy, sleeping bag & pad, etc.)
- NW Forest Pass for each vehicle

This is a 3-peak weekend...Seven Fingered Jack, Mt Maude, & Mt Fernow.

This is a 3-day 2-night trip, camping in the basin at 6100 ft.
Hopefully the larch trees will be glowing golden for us.
Elevation gain for the entire trip is ~11,000 ft.
Mt Fernow increases the trip rating to S5-T5.
Some people might sleep at the TH on Thursday night.
Sunrise is at 7:15am, sunset is at 6:40pm.

Day 1: Hike in, set up camp, Mt Maude (gain ~5700 ft)
Day 2: Mt Fernow (gain ~5000 ft)
Day 3: 7 Fingered Jack, pack camp, hike out (gain ~3000 ft)

We'll only do this trip if there's no rain in the forecast...if the trip is canceled due to weather then there won't be an alternate destination.
