This is your opportunity to escape to the Pasayten Wilderness for a beautiful class 3 ridge run. And still make it back home for the July 4th celebration.

(USGS Robinson Mountain) 14 miles and 6500' elevation gain. (S5/T5 snow and rock) Crampons, ice axe, and helmet required. No exceptions. Brisk pace. This trip is mostly off-trail. Efficient off-trail scrambling on both rock and snow is essential for doing this trip in one day. This trip should not be your first exposure to T5 snow or rock.


Drive time Seattle to TH is about 4.5 hours. Car camping Saturday night is strongly advised.

Poor weather will relocate this trip to Teanaway.
