Join me on this interesting route up to Alta.  Little bit of longer day but we’ll rewarded with Rampart Lakes views, swim, relaxing, playing with dogs and a beautiful summit view.  We’ll head in via Lake Lillian hiking trail and then go backcountry scramble up to Rampart Lakes (The “Backdoor route”) and from there follow the straight ridge up to Alta.  Plenty of stops for water fueling, cooling off, and swimming.

We’ll mannered dogs invited but please note the final ridge to Alta is steep but short.  Dogs comfortable around steep hiking trails should be fine - but I will have a short belay on my pup as a safety precaution.  Lmk if you are bringing puppy and we can talk about safety mitigation.
