Preston Park and Ride 7 am
Phelps is perhaps the most Prominent Peak looking east from Bellevue. Rarely listed as a trip.
We will meet at Preston P & R and carpool from there. It will take about 1 1/2 hours to get to the TH which is 1 hour drive up the North Snoqualmie River Road, 24 miles of forest road.
The scramble itself will be 2 miles and 3000 feet of bushwhacking pretty much straight up.
Expect to use bafckcountry navagation skills including those related to finding a route to the summit.
