The Palisades and Marcus Peak are located in the NE of Mt Rainier National Park. This trip provides high alpine roaming past small lakes to the interesting cliff formations that make up The Palisades. Marcus is a subsidiary peak that borders the lakes to the south. We will start from the Palisades Lake TH at Sunrise Point on the Sunrise Road from the White River Entrance. Helmets are required. A National Parks Pass or equivalent is required for vehicles entering the park.
