Our meeting time is 8:00 AM at the Sunrise Point parking area. This is a parking lot at the last curve before going up to the Sunrise lodge.
The route plan I have for this scramble is to take the trails to Hidden Lake, ascend the gully between Marcus and Palisades Peak, then proceed to the summit of Palisades. After summiting Palisades Peak return to the gully and ascend Marcus from the north east ridgeline. After summiting Marcus, drop down to the south ridgeline and follow along the ridge all the way back to Dege Peak trail. If we have time and energy we might tag Dege Peak as well, otherwise follow that trail back to the parking lot. Route map link. https://caltopo.com/p/2P0N
