This is an opportunity to practice off-trail route finding on a shorter trip at a moderate pace. We’ll also discuss map and compass skills. Expect a mixture of open forest, small rock outcroppings, boot path, side-hilling and talus before reaching a treeless “bald” summit. We’ll take a lunch break before returning.
