Easy scramble up the two peaks on either side of Chinook Pass. This trip for Alpine Scramble students needing a rock scramble, or two, for graduation. Tacoma Branch students given first priority. Meet at 7:30 am at King County Enumclaw Park (next door to Charlie's Restaurant) on SR 410 in Enumclaw. We will carpool from the Park out to Chinook Pass. If you wish to drive straight to Chinook Pass, then notify Leader. Will summit Yakima Peak first (approx 1,200 ft.), return to the cars for snack / lunch, then cross 410 and ascend Naches Peak (approx 1,000 ft.). 10 E's, scramble kit (hasty harness, prusik, and locking c-biner), good attitude required. Students receive credit for two scrambles.
