6:00 AM at Martin Way Park and Ride, Lacey; I-5 Exit 109
We will camp at Black and White Lakes the first day and do the scramble the following morning then hike out. Hence, plan on an early start Sunday morning. It is about 7 miles and 3600 ft of gain to the Lakes and another 2 miles and 1500 ft of gain to Mt. Henderson.

We will follow the general route listed in the Climber's Guide to the Olympic Mountains, 3rd Edition. It lists the scramble as Class 1.

As the roster is finalized, we can try to arrange for sharing tents and bear canisters. In the interests of low impact, I would like to minimize the number of tents.

Finally, I wanted to let you know that I have not done this scramble.
