Alpine Scramble - Mount Roosevelt

Mostly moderate T3 challenging scramble, but current snow will probably make the last 150 feet truly steep to summit (T4). Weather forecast is excellent for stable snow: plan B will be Wright Mt above Gem Lake. ***Bring snowshoes

Group will evaluate and agree on avalanche safety for last 100-200 feet to summit.

May use safety harness and prussik for ascent and decent, so scramblers need to be reasonably comfortable kicking steps and trusting ice ax up steep section to exciting summit.
