This is a key-exchange traverse of Mt Pilchuck via the Bathtub Basin. Half of the group will start at the Pinnacle Lake trailhead and traverse east to west. The other half of the group will start at the Mt Pilchuck trailhead and traverse west to east. The groups will meet in the middle and exchange car keys.
This is a very popular trip. There will be a lot of demand for the limited spots. Please only sign up if you can commit to both Saturday (Oct 19) and Sunday (Oct 20). We will choose the one with the better weather forecast on Thursday and won't have the time or the energy to find last minute substitutes. If both forecasts are for wet or snowy days, we will find an alternative destination in the Teanaway.
Note on pacing: several of the leaders are in their sixties. We will go at a relaxed, sauntering pace. If you want a fast-paced aerobic workout, find a different scramble.
