This will be an extremely strenuous and very challenging outing.  In addition to the substantial distance and elevation involved there is also a  significant amount of scree, talus, and choss to deal with.  Planning for a 3 day trip with the fourth day as a contingency day.  Only register if are are very well conditioned, have experience on T4/T5 scrambles, can travel reasonably fast off trail, and are available all 4 days.  If you are capable and would like to participate but only available for 3 days, you may reach out to me as I will consider selecting 3 specific days depending on the interest and availability of others.

Current Trip Plan (subject to change/finalization)

Day 1 - Hike into Leroy Basin, setup camp,  and (likely) scramble 7FJ

Day 2 - Fernow (and 7FJ if not done on day 1)

Day 3 - Option A - Maude, return to camp, pack up, hike out

Day 3 - Option B Carne Mtn High Route exit - Pack up camp, head for Maude with full packs, drop packs at ridgeline for Maude scramble, return to packs and hike out via Carne Mtn traverse route.
