Scramble the highest point in King County! The first day we'll hike from Tucquala CG (at the end of the Salmon la Sac road) to Peggy's Pond, where we'll establish camp. Sunday morning we'll ascend the south-east rib, hopefully tagging each of Daniel's toothy peaks. Then we'll descend (probably by its eastern snowfield), fold camp, and return, . Crampons, helmets, and diaper harness or equivalent required. We may have some crampon practice if people are interested - though you must make sure that your crampons fit your boots before the trip! As we approach the time of the trip, the weather forecasts and bug reports are looking good. Shortly before the trip I will be sending an e-mail query to each of you so that we may coordinate camping gear: stoves, tents, water filters, etc.
