South Renton Park and Ride, time TBD

A snow scramble on the SW side of Mt Rainier National Park, to a (hopefully) scenic peak and views.  Open to this year's scramble students who will have successfully completed the snow field trip.  Please note, though, because of the expected duration of the trip, we will have less time for actual self-arrest practice, so please be confident with your skills.  I am also looking for an assistant leader to join, please email me for consideration if interested in this.

Depending on snow conditions, we may need snowshoes or microspikes, in addition to the usual scramble equipment.  We will also plan to work as a team on navigation, as this is a summit I have yet to visit.

*** This is a change in date from our originally planned date of 4/23.
