7:00 PM at Trout Lake Ranger Station
Mt. Adams (12,276 ft.) of course is one of the highest peaks in Washington, yet it is a scramble! We will drive down the night before (Aug.7) and buy the individual permit at the Trout Lake Ranger Station ($10 each). We will car camp at Cold Springs Camp Ground, about an hour from the station. We will be on the trail (#183 south climb trail) at 3:00 AM, Aug.8. We should summit around 11 AM if all goes well. More info to follow the week before the trip!
