Priority given to Olympia Scrambling & Olympia Climbing students. All others will be waitlisted until 10 days prior to the trip. This trip qualifies as an Alpine Climb or a (really long) Snow Scramble. We will meet in Olympia on Friday, 4pm, to carpool and car camp at the trailhead. Be prepared to travel at a moderate pace with an overnight bag to high camp (Lunch Counter). We will camp at Lunch Counter on Saturday, then summit and come back to town on Sunday, July 5th. Now, you need to know that we had an AMAZING group last year. In fact, this amazing group happened to also be amazing chefs. We had a gourmet hors d'oeuvres party at high camp and I fully expect this to be a part of the annual tradition. So, if you want to climb Adams, if you are free 4th of July weekend, and if you are willing to share in the hors d'oeuvres party (which, by the way, must be homemade or at least hand-assembled), then this is the opportunity you've been waiting for.
