This scramble is in the Stehekin area. Getting to Stehekin involves a ferry ride from Chelan (or airplane ride) or hiking aboutt 15 miles in from Rainy Pass. The trail head is about 8 miles upvalley from Stehekin. There are campgrounds and places to lodge near trailhead. Contact leaders or see http://www.nps.gov/noca/focus/focus.htm for more info on places to stay. Co-Lead: Pete McCormick 425 822-0128. Note that when you contact leader for permission to go, leaders will be very interested in discussing how you intend to get to the trailhead. Also note that getting a place to stay in Stehekin is best done well in advance as reservations are often hard to come by.
