Alpine Scramble - McClellan Butte

The rock scramble if for Tacoma Scramble course students only. We will meet at the North Bend Safeway lot near the clock tower 7:30 so we can do some car pooling. We will not start from the regular trail head.

Meeting place and time

We will meet at the North Bend Safeway lot near the clock tower 7:30 so we can do some car pooling. We will not start from the regular trail head. To insure we all get to the correct start, we will caravan from Safeway on I-90 and forest service road to a different trail head. We should be back to the cars at Safeway by 2:00. This is a rock scramble, but bring an ice axe just in case the gullies have snow.

Leader's notes

Students need to have completed their conditioner to go on this climb and have complete the Scramble rock field trips.
