A very strenuous, and sure to be gorgeous outing in the Marmot Pass area. After parking at the Upper Dungeness trailhead we will soon head cross country in a direct line to the summit of Copper Creek Peak. We will likely polish off Pt 6560 as well as Pt 6470 on our way to the trail to Marmot Pass. After a last summit of Buckhorn we finally head home via the trail to Boulder Shelter, then down to the Dungeness River and our cars. Photos from prior trips in this area can be seen here.
