This will be moderate to slow pace conditioner with heavy backpacks. It is up to you how heavy backpack you want to carry. I will bring my 10 years old son with me and he will be a little bit slower but I hope we will make it to the top in 4 hours or sooner. The idea is to start hiking before 9 am and be back at TH around 4 pm or sooner. We will have quick breaks with exception for lunch (20-30 min). NW Forest Pass is not required for this hike. Yak tracks may be useful when we get close to the top but I did not use anything about 2 weeks ago so by Saturday there will be much less snow. Kids are welcome but please be sure that your kid(s) can make it to the summit so we don't need to turn back the whole party. This is extremely steep and strenuous hike so I assume that you are in good shape.
