Recommend Green Trails-Mount Stuart map for overview of area and assistance in finding the trailhead. NOTE: 4/22 Update: The road to the trailhead is now open. Per Jerry Lockwood, who led a Miller Scramble on Wednesday, "We were able to drive to the end of Stafford Creek Road (elevation 3200'). There was a little hard packed snow and ice on the road above 3000', but it was melting rapidly in the afternoon. The road should be clear by the time of your Navaho scramble." We will still keep note of the alternate location in case any new difficulties arise: Silver Peak via Annette Lake Trail (Snoqualmie Pass) Driving Instructions: Drive I-90 past Cle Elum to exit 85 (Hwy 970). Continue on Hwy 970 for 7 miles and turn left on the Teanaway River Road. Drive the North Fork Teanaway River Road (NFS Road 9737) for 13 miles to where the pavement ends at 29 Pines CG, then stay right and continue 1.5 miles to the Stafford Creek road (FS 9703). Continue on the Stafford Creek road for 2.7 miles to the Stafford Creek TH. (elevation 3080'). ATTENTION DRIVERS: Bring Forest Passes for your cars for this trailhead. They are required! **Be sure the club has your current email address when you sign up.**
