  • Strenuous 5, Technical 1
  • For Beginners (Getting Started Series)
  • Mileage: 15.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 5,400 ft

We will meet at the Stuart/Colchuck lake trailhead at 4:45 a.m. and will begin hiking at 5 a.m. Car camping at the trailhead the night before is recommended.

This will be long day and we will be ascending Aasgard Pass which will likely still be snow covered June 12th.  Because of the length of the scramble I am requiring leaders permission to join this scramble.  Please indicate your fitness level and how much you have been getting out so far this year when requesting permission.  This will be a 12 to 14 hour day depending on the strength of the group and the conditions.
