Alpine Scramble - Lightning Peak
Approach on the Copper Creek Trail. Then ascend a moderate snow or talus slope to the ridge with a rock scramble to the summit. This is a moderate scramble of 7 miles and 3,800 feet of elevation gain.

Meet at 6:00am at the Martin Way Park and Ride in Lacey, WA (Exit 109 from I-5).
We are anticipating that there still may be signficant snow on the ascent to the ridge and possibly on the ridge. Hence the requirement for crampons.
