Alpine Scramble - Lichtenberg Mountain

• Route: FS 6700 from US 2 (likely snowed in and thus adding extra mileage already factored into the statistics above) --> Smithbrook TH --> Lichtenwasser Lake --> Summit
• Reaching the summit is never guaranteed but especially this one is known to have cornices near the top depending on conditions that might prevent us from topping out with the goal in sight. See for example: 2017 trip report
• Pace will be moderate with 5 - 10 minute breaks roughly once per hour
• Scramble students: you are welcome to join if you have completed your snow field trip before this one
• Destination subject to change on short notice based on weather and terrain conditions
• Expect an email with logistics 2 - 3 days before the trip
