Candidates for this trip should possess enthusiasm for routefinding, and at least a modest affinity for brush. Their perseverance will be rewarded.
This will be a strenuous trip due to being all off trail. It may be a long day. Scramble students should feel confident with self-belay using ice axe. This SHOULD NOT be your first snow scramble.
North Bend Safeway 6 a.m. to allow for long bumpy ride up the North Fork Road.
