This will be a multi-day combo climb of Lassen Peak, Broke-off Mountain, and other scramble peaks in the Lassen Volcanic National Park.
Day 1 (8/31). Drive from Tacoma to Lassen Volcanic National Park (10 hours drive time). Expect to camp in a walk-in campsite.
Day 2 (9/1). Hike the Lassen Peak trail (elev. 10,457; 2,000 ft gain). Hike the Brokeoff Mountain trail (elev. 9,235 ft; 2,600 ft gain).
Day 3 (9/2). Scramble the Eagle Peak/Mt Diller ridge to reach Eagle Peak (elev. 9,222 ft), Ski Heil Pea (elev. 8,920 ft), Pilot Pinnacle (elev. 8,886 ft), and Mt Diller (elev. 9,085 ft).
Day 4 (9/3). Drive from Lassen Volcanic National Park to Tacoma. (10 hours drive time).
