4:30 PM at I-90 Exit 20
Kendall Peak under snow conditions is new for the AfterHours activities but the usual principles apply: The idea is to reach the summit and return to recognizable trail by the time headlamps are required. Pace is moderate but steady, with few breaks (eat first!). Summit sunsets and evening light can be wonderful....and, as always, weather can call for a last-minute change in destination. We leave the Exit 20 meeting point promptly at 4:30 pm, earlier if all are present, and carpool to the trailhead.
