  • Strenuous 3, Technical 2
  • Mileage: 10.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 2,800 ft
7:15 AM at Trailhead
Students are welcome. We will be taking an alternate route via Commonwealth Basin, and then avoid a few miles of trail hiking by ascending a large talus field. It saves miles, but not necessarily time. Snow credit is unlikely. We had a lot of bugs this time of year last year, so be forewarned. Directions: Drive I-90 to Exit 52 at Snoqualmie Summit. Turn left under I-90 and take the first right into the PCT trailhead parking area (Trail 2000). PCT TH is at far end of parking area. This will be a slow/leisurely outing, with a focus on wild flowers, navigation skills, and fun! If you have questions please contact the leader, Glen Ferguson: 206-390-9717 (cell) or Fergusong1@gmail.com.
