  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 7.4 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 1,950 ft

9 a.m. at the "lower parking area" for the Iron Bear TH. (At the end of FR 9714 there will be a stream just before the trail head. The last 200 yards of road is a bit dicey but there are several turnouts just before you get to the ford. We'll meet here and walk the last bit.)

NAVIGATION / ROUTE INFORMATION: In the interest of full disclosure, I have never done this trip before and am counting on everyone working as a team on navigation. This has worked well in the past, and I am confident we will be successful in our route finding if everyone comes prepared and participates :-) Please review and bring a copy of the route description and a map!

WEATHER: The forecast is for sunny with temps in the low 40s to mid-50s, so be sure to dress/pack accordingly!

CONTACT INFO: If you have any questions or concerns, please email me or call me on my cell at 425-260-5145.

CANCELLATIONS: If you make other plans or are otherwise unable to go, please cancel ASAP, so folks on the waiting list can move up. Registration officially closes on 9/3 at 5 pm.
