8:30 AM at far side of DeRoux Campground
SUMMIT: Iron & Teanaway, 6519' & 6779' (3-2) (USGS Mt. Stuart) 9 miles, 3700' gain. DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS: Drive I-90 to exit 85 (Hwy 97). Continue on Hwy 97 for 7 miles and turn left on the Teanaway River Road. Drive the Teanaway River road for 13 miles where the pavement ends (29 Pines CG) then stay right and continue about 7.2 miles (just past High Country Packers camp) and turn left, then continue 0.2 miles to the old DeRoux Campground. TRAILHEAD: Meet at the far side of DeRoux Campground by 8:30 a.m. Elevation 3760'. We will take trail #1399 (Iron Peak/Eldorado trail).
