We will meet at Ira Spring's TH at 8AM.
From I-90 east, take exit 45 to Forest Road 6031 and drive to the Ira Spring Trailhead.
Northwest Forest Pass is required.
You can see the route here. We will do a loop to add a traverse to Mt Defiance and easier hike down on hiker's trail.
Please bring helmets and bug spray. No ice axe, but poles may be helpful. Approach shoes or trail runners (if you feel good in those) are also okay.
