Alpine Scramble - Icicle Ridge (winter)

Late posting to try seize a rare sunny day in the forecast with a high effort/high reward ridge scramble. Aiming at point 7029 but we will likely turn around earlier based on conditions, daylight time available and group's needs. Main objective is views!

Icicle Ridge Trail head at 7:45 AM (leader will likely stay in the area the night before).  Other carpools from Seattle area may be arranged by participants.

Planning email will be sent to participants by Friday evening.

This is a strenuous winter scramble with up to 5800 ft of gain. It is steepest at the start on the trail to gain the ridge (first 2000 ft of gain), then gradually ascends the ridge. If you have not ever been out with this leader, email to request permission and describe your recent winter scramble experience and fitness level.
