This trip is intended as a first post-course snow scramble for Everett 2013 Scrambling students, although members of all branches are welcome. Five spots are open to members of all branches. Six spots will be reserved for Everett Scrambling students through June 4, at which point, if any spots are not taken they will be open to members of all branches. Trip will involve continuation of course learning objectives – navigation thru thick forest, snow travel, exertion, and plunge stepping. Probably not much glissading on this trip. Note: Route will be up NW Ridge; not from Annette Lake Trail as in boilerplate trip description. Also, expect rating to be more like S2-T2, rather than S3-T3 as in boilerplate trip description. Trip covers a tiny corner of USGS Snoq Pass and USGS Lost Lake maps; Leader can email a .jpg image of route from TOPO if preferred over buying the 2 maps. Contact leader Brian Booth at bbooth626@yahoo.com for permission to signup.
