Anticipated route conditions: S5, T4-5 (rock+snow). 14 miles, 5,500' gain. This is two-day trip, mainly due to the long drive time. We will most likely be camping on snow. Previous backpacking experience required. Pace will be moderate. Participants should be confident they have the necessary fitness. See required equipment list.  Pre-trip logistics will be coordinated  by email.

  • Mountaineering Boots
  • Ice Axe
  • gloves, hat, warm layers
  • Sleeping Bag
  • Sleeping Pad(s) rated for sleeping on snow
  • Tent or other shelter
  • Water purification method (shared)
  • Stove+pot+fuel (shared)
  • A pack large enough to fit all your gear plus some shared group gear
  • Two poles (recommend, there may be creek crossings)
  • Sandals or light shoes (there may be creek crossings)
