Alpine Scramble - Hidden Lake Peak

The Triad Exploratory Round 2: Spectacular views after gaining ridge .3 miles north of Hidden Lake Peak running ridge to The Triad. Must have crampon experience so half mile plus of late season iced snow traverse will be fun challenge: descent-ascent onto snow-ice 30-100 feet 20-30 degree slope. Mostly T3, but must be comfortable with S4, T4. Weather: back-up plan change to Sunday Oct 13.

Last year's exploratory: 1) snow field traverse vs rock required , 2) large snow slope had ice-snow even though it had much sun exposure: estimating  .3-.6 mile.
