Hibox Peak is a strenuous 6.7-mile out-and-back scramble with 3,900 feet of elevation gain, starting from the Rachel Lake trail near Snoqualmie Pass. The final push involves steep Class 3 scrambling up a rocky boot-path and a narrow chimney on the southeast ridge. At the summit, climbers are rewarded with sweeping views of Mount Rainier, Glacier Peak, and the jagged Alpine Lakes Wilderness.
Meet at Tibbets Park and Ride at 7:30am (ready to carpool) or at Rachel Lake Trailhead at 8:40am (ready to hike).
