Hemlock Mountain - 8 miles, 3600' gain, S3-T3
Hemlock Mountain is located just west of the Cascade Crest, northwest of Snoqualmie Pass between The Tooth and Bryant Peak. We'll traverse the summit from the Bryant-Hemlock saddle SE to the Hemlock-Tooth saddle before looping back to the Denny Creek Trail. Ice axe and helmet required.
* Take I-90 east to Exit 47, then turn left onto Asahel Curtis Rd/NF-55.
* In 0.1 miles turn right onto NF-9034, then in 0.3 miles take the 1st left onto NF-5800.
* Drive 2.3 miles on NF-5800 and turn left onto FS 5830.
* In 0.2 miles take the 1st left to stay on FS 5830 to the trailhead.
Time: 1:00 from Seattle. A Northwest Forest Pass is required in each vehicle.
