7:00 am at the Horseshoe Bend trail head, at the east end of the town of Glacier, on the right immediately after SR 542 crosses the Nooksack River. This parking lot is across the street from the entrance to the Douglas Fir campground, where I will be staying in site #9.
Hadley peak, at the head of Chowder Ridge, is a pile of loose rubble. We will likely turn around prior to Hadley Peak.
